members of legendary SYLVESTER ANFANG II each take one side of this 48 minute tape and fill it to the brim with cosmic minimalism courtesy their solo monikers HELLVETE and BBLL, with discographies overlapping KRAAK, SICSIC, SLOOW and now OAKEN PALACE which is becoming a major hub in the outer zones inhabited by BLOWN OUT, ETERNAL TAPESTRY and EXPO 70 -- this is HELLVETE and BBLL's second split tape (i think), with a title as clever and apt as it is tongue in cheek, along the lines of BBLL's SMOKED THE WHOLE THING -- HELLVETE goes first with two deep hypnotic cosmic drones - "droomharmonium" or "dreamharmonium" i suppose, a fitting name for this ambient drone kosmische sub genre - channeling OUTSIDE THE DREAM SYNDICATE and HARMONIA (of course) - then BBLL flips to a far out vibe like some way out temple ritual on acid as performed by KLAUS SCHULZE circa BLACKDANCE, overlapping BLUE COMMUNION: ISAM and NOT NOT FUN era SUN ARAW, parallel to prominent gurus of rural kosmische VON HIMMEL, MENDOCINO and HERBCRAFT - this is without question one of the best tapes of the year, sleep at your own risk
