debut tape (i think) from LOECKER - three dynamic ambient drone suites - hypnotic tones, airy loops, angelic harmonies, grainy tape manipulation, immersed atmospherics, even some intriguing industrial kosmische hybridization - an array of textures, a melting pot of tangential methods and styles as LOECKER reshapes his sound not just track to track but at times minute to minute - he takes what he likes and leaves the rest from the likes of BASINSKI, COIL, ENO, early sides of KRAFTWERK and TANGERINE DREAM, at one time(s) or another approximate to MATTHEW BARLOW, KYLE LANDSTRA and STRANGE MOUNTAIN
ZSIGO & GEYBELS is a real stunner albeit tantalizingly brief, intense uncompromising dark ambient drone, mind numbing cacophony zeroing in on the same target that PETE SWANSON obliterated circa 2009 with similarly short n sweet tapes like UNLIMITED OPTIONS and then fined tuned on FEELINGS IN AMERICA, but with more of a haunting howling post industrial doom setting if you will, particularly on side two
